Chase Behaviour
Chasing is a natural behaviour in dogs and some just can’t resist anything that moves. Does your dog chase other pets, bikes, cars, skateboards, runners, birds in the sky? If this is your canine friend, get in touch, I can help.
I can help to teach your dog in making smarter decisions and learning self-control. By the end of the program, it will be possible for your dog to walk past chase triggers without a problem.
Un-Chase! gives your dog an understanding of boundaries and calmness while you enjoy the peace of mind that comes with it.

Private Training & Workshops
Private Training
Private Un-Chase! training provides an individual supportive and targeted approach to work with your dog’s chase behaviour. I will work with you to identify your dog/puppy’s chase triggers and formulate a training plan to address this behaviour. I will teach your dog to engage in safer outlets and choose alternative behaviours to chasing.
Imagine, for example, your dog coming to you when he spies a kangaroo, or calmly ignoring a chicken, cars, bikes, skateboards, joggers, or the cat.
Un-Chase! private training replaces frustration and worry with confidence and peace of mind. If you’re looking for a tailored program with maximum support, private training is for you.
Workshops
Learning is also fun together! By attending an Un-Chase! workshop, you’ll soon discover that you’re not alone. Dogs who rush after objects, people and animals can pose a risk to themselves and others.
I will help you to learn to manage these triggers more effectively through simple exercises and games.
During our workshop you will discover the principles of the positive Un-Chase! approach and will have the opportunity to practice in a safe environment with real distractions.
These workshops are the ideal way to start your dog on the path to un-chasing.
Puppies
Stop chase behaviour before it begins! Have you just welcomed a puppy into your life? Perhaps you’ve chosen a breed with a reputation for chasing, such as a Herder or Sighthound. Or maybe you want your new puppy to live successfully with other animals in the home.
Puppy Un-Chase! training is a smart investment for all new puppy parents. During this critical stage of development, I will teach you to support your puppy to make good choices around potential chase triggers and learn that all the fun happens when they stick with you.
Be proactive and prevent your puppy from developing unwanted chase behaviour right from the start.
Be proactive, NOT reactive!
Wildlife
Wildlife and dogs are not always the best mix and can pose a serious risk to many animals, such as wallabies and koalas, through their chase behaviour.
Being pursued can cause a huge amount of stress to native animals, often resulting in injury and death. It’s bad news for our dogs, too. Snakes and kangaroos can be deadly for our canine companions.
Un-Chase! wildlife training provides safety for your dog and peace of mind for you. Through this unique and positive reinforcement-based program, you’ll learn a series of engaging training exercises that can save your dog’s life as well as the life and wellbeing of protected wildlife.
