Testimonial for Anna Tasker and Paw Power Canine Coaching:

I have known of Anna Tasker and her training organisation for 2 decades here in the Byron Shire.

In frustration, desperation (and one under Byron Council investigation, with severe penalties pending), I have twice reached out for an expert.

The results in both instances were incredible.  Anna made ME aware of how my animal perceives his world and my leadership cues.

Two of my dogs over the years, had separate but strong behavioural issues – from extreme chase behaviour, territory aggression, escape issues as well as scary barking.  On the flip side, they were/are the most loyal, loving animals.

No matter what I did, the behaviours did not abate. Anna’s first visit in 2014 was an eye opener – into the mistakes I MADE. I was guilty, but not to blame – we tend to rely on old fashioned techniques and outdated ideas.

(In fact, I didn’t actually believe in her solutions when she left the first time!)

Until all of them worked.

Within a very short time of changing my approach and ‘upping’ my game with her advice, training and support, the results yielded where immediate – and long lasting.

And I was given the gift of a closer, more engaged, and loving relationship with both these dogs. And they became calm, happy and trouble-free at home, in public or with other animals. What a joy!

Recently, my second dog required a Byron Shire Council Behavioural Assessment, to ascertain if he was a menace and dangerous.  The consequences to his and my quality of life if he was not properly assessed was dire.

I immediately contacted Anna Tasker/Paw Power and received a level of service and timing unheard of – ten stars if it were possible.  She was thorough, unyielding in a compassionate way, as to what steps needed to be accomplished. Training began immediately and I listened, learnt and embraced it in a most diligent and thorough way.

The Byron Council Behavioural Assessment was not biased and extremely fair.

We met at the dog beach, she came to my home, she observed our ins and outs of the vehicle and property.

Which is why Byron Shire Council also reacted fairly. I was given the fine and continue to work with my beloved dog with the concepts of positive reinforcement brought to my awareness by Anna Tasker.

Forever grateful,

Tonina D.
