Anna Tasker Dog Trainer

Anna Tasker is a nationally accredited canine trainer, having completed her Certificate IV in Dog Behavioural Training with the Delta Society Australia. Recognised as a valuable resource for knowledge, education and management skills within the canine training field, she is an inspiration to many.

Anna is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia, Pet Professionals Guild and the Association of Animal Behaviourists. She regularly attends seminars, workshops and conferences to keep up to date with the latest research and training methods.

Anna once was the proud owner of a gorgeous Labrador Retriever and Labrador Cross. Both dogs were trained as Delta Therapy Dogs and involved in a Canine Therapy Program visiting patients of all ages at local hospitals. Since then, the family has grown to include Otto, a Groodle and Tiki the Rag Doll cat to join Jelly Bean.

In addition to offering private consultations and small training classes, Anna is also a qualified Temperament Assessor for the Department of Local Government, and a dog assessor for the Story Dog Program in the Northern Rivers Area, accrediting dogs and their handlers to visit primary school classrooms to be read to by children.

The mother of two teenage boys Anna is keen to instil an awareness of social responsibility in the next generation of dog owners. She regularly gives presentations to school groups and community organisations promoting such educational values.

Understanding the importance of acknowledging the individuality and character of each dog and the subsequent value they can bring to your life and that of your family has become a priority for Anna in recent years as she endeavours to provide people with the knowledge, techniques and management skills through the provision of relevant information, resources and education.

Anna regularly inspires and educates her clients with articles on relevant topics published on her Blog, in the Paws for Thought eNewsletter, and keeps clients updated on Paw Power’s latest happenings on Facebook.
